SSC Stenographer Educational Qualification

The minimum Educational Qualification required by a candidate is to be at least a 12th pass from a recognized Board or University. He/She must be able to produce the required documents when asked for verification after qualifying SSC Stenographer 2025 Exam.

SSC Stenographer Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)

SSC Stenographer Grade C: A candidate must lie in the age domain of 18-30 years to be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2025 Grade C Exam. The candidates born not before 02.08.1995 and not later than 01.08.2007 are eligible to apply.

SSC Stenographer Grade D: A candidate must lie in the age domain of 18-27 years to be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2025 Grade D Exam. Candidates born not before 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2007 are eligible to apply.

SSC Stenographer 2025 Exam Pattern

The SSC Stenographer 2025 selection process consists of two stages: a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test. The CBT is an objective-type exam with 200 questions, totaling 200 marks, and is conducted online. It comprises three sections: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and English Language & Comprehension. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours.
